Author Guidelines

The manuscripts submitted to Journal of Clinical and Medical Images, Case Reports are subjected to a rigorous review process. All manuscripts are examined by panels of editors before being peer-reviewed to determine the content's quality. Duplication and copying without citing sources are deemed unethical, and any articles submitted in this manner are immediately rejected.

Manuscript submission

Every day, a large number of papers are sent to us for review. As a result, this is a time-consuming task for us as well. So, in order to prevent long delays, we recommend that writers follow the length, level, and format recommendations provided by Journal of Clinical and Medical Images, Case Reports at every stage for rapid and easy processing, as well as to avoid rejection. Except for letters to editors and clinical picture submissions, every submitted article must contain a 300-word summary or abstract that is independent from the main content. The summary should be meticulously written and provide a concise overview of the entire work. It must include the study's purpose as well as the key methodology used in performing the research, as well as a concise summary of the study's major findings. Subheadings should preferably be no more than 40 characters long in the main body text.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

If authors follow the guidelines below, their chances of having their work accepted by our panel of editors will be maximized:

  • The writers must provide us an electronic covering letter indicating the type of publication they are submitting, whether it is a review article, research article, case study, or brief report. The authors cannot categorize any manuscript as a Letter to the Editor or short communications unless and until they obtain a special invitation.
  • This is to verify that the work submitted for review is not simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • If the authors intend to profit financially from the literary work they have contributed, they must state this clearly. This is being done to avoid any potential future conflicts of interest between the author and ….
  • The article must have a clear and meaningful title, as well as complete author information. The title page must include information about the author, such as his or her educational qualifications, affiliation with a professional or academic institution, and contact information.
  • On the first page of the manuscript, the corresponding author should include his or her entire mailing address, contact number, e-mail address, and fax number.
  • The pages should be numbered sequentially so that the panel of editors and peer reviewers can readily keep track of the contents.
  • Page 1 should be numbered as the title page. You must type the running head, title, and author/s names, as well as their academic degrees, on the first page. You must also provide all other pertinent information, such as the correspondence address and contact information for reprint requests.

Case Report/Case Studies
Case studies are produced with the goal of providing further information linked to the topic of interest's investigative inquiry. Case studies normally bring a lot of value to the major articles or materials that are submitted, and they shed a lot of light on the essential insights of the core topic in question. The case reports are often short and follow a defined format for the readers' convenience.

Editorials are usually reflections on the current topic of the journal. Journal of Clinical and Medical Images, Case Reports Editorial Office will contact authors who are interested in applying for this profile, and they will be expected to submit their applications before the deadline.

Clinical Images
Clinical Images are simply well-organized graphical representations of a specific topic. With their suitable description, this should not exceed five numbers, and the description should not exceed 300 words. For clinical Images, no citations or references are given. You may, however, mention references if necessary, but no more than three should be mentioned.

This section contains information about the grant, as well as the people and funds who were involved in the creation of the literary work.

It should be highlighted that the reference list should only comprise accepted and published manuscripts. Under no circumstances may conference presentations, meeting extracts, or papers submitted that are not accepted for publication be referenced in the references. Because references may be published online, authors are required to provide an online link for each one.

Tables should be used sparingly, and if they are, they should be created in a straightforward manner. If inserting a table in your text is absolutely important, the authors must submit the tables exclusively in.doc format. It is important to remember that the tables must be typed double-spaced throughout, including the headings and footnotes. A heading and a legend should be included in every table. The tables must be self-explanatory and should not contain any references to the content. The many aspects of the experimentation procedures are presented in the legend rather than being explained in text style.

JPEG, GIF, and TIFF are some of the most popular file formats for displaying photographic photographs. If you have the photographs in a different format, you can provide us the Photoshop files and we'll make the necessary changes on our end. All photos should be larger than the intended display size and have the following image resolutions: Line Art 800 dpi, Combination of Line Art and Halftone of 600 dpi, Halftone of 300 dpi.

The electronic proofs are given to the associated writer or author as a PDF file as an e-mail attachment. Page proofs are considered the final version of the work, and writers are asked to mark up the PDF with any modifications (if any). On special request, hard copies of the published papers can be obtained from our editing office.

All of the content that will be published in Journal of Clinical and Medical Images, Case Reports is copyrighted, which means that no one can reproduce, transfer, or distribute the original work without properly citing the source.

Manuscript withdrawal Policy(Cancellation/Refund policy)
Because an article submitted to Journal of Clinical and Medical Images, Case Reports implies that the work has not been published or submitted elsewhere, the journal strongly opposes unethical withdrawal of an article from the publication process after it has been submitted. When an article is submitted, the author grants the editorial board all publishing rights, and the editorial board has complete discretion over article removals. For a true withdrawal, the corresponding author should submit a request that must be signed by all co-authors and include a detailed explanation of why the paper is being withdrawn. If accepted papers are withdrawn during the final stages of publishing, withdrawal costs will apply.
